TWR 2024 Tournament Announcement.

"At the ready, it's about time for you to get on the floor!"

And by the floor, we of course mean The Wrestling Ring mats as we prepare to kick off our second tournament of the year. While LWR finishes up, we prepare for the first mixed tournament of the year. Here's all the details you need to know for the tournament!

Registration

The tournament will be open for 8 female and 8 male characters initially who will be paired into heterosexual teams.
To register, you must place a link to your character in the The Wrestling Ring 2024: Sign-Up Thread once it opens. We will keep it open until we get 8 male and 8 female characters sign-ups and then for 72 hours after that point.
You must have a character who has been active for at least 3 months
Your characters must have played a combined total of 10 TWR matches.
We will accept characters made specifically for TWR 2024 or TWR in general as long as your other characters have 10 TWR matches and you have a character who has been active for at least 3 months.
If we get more than 16 characters signing up, we may consider expanding the tournament to 32 players, numbers dependent.
Participants will be decided by lottery. We will select the relevant amount of characters for the teams first, then do reserves after. If you are selected as a reserve and are not required in the tournament, you will be granted a wild-card, guaranteed entry, to a future tournament of your choice.
If you have a wild-card from the Hentai Halloween tournament and wish to use it, please contact either myself or Winston to use it for automatic entry to the tournament.

Match Rules

All matches must have match logs turned on.
All match logs must be posted in the tournament-logs thread.
All matches must be played in public.
Role-playing is mandatory for all tournament matches.
The preference system for actions must be disabled.
Matches must be played in normal mode, no use of fast or slow-mode.
Skipping your turn is not allowed. (You may redraw actions if you wish.)
You must start the match by using the 'Round 1' action. Failure to do so will result in an instant replay or disqualification.
Hard deadlines will be set for each round. We expect all matches to be completed before the deadline. If there is a real life emergency or an issue scheduling your match, please contact myself or Winston to arrange an extension. Failure to do so will be considered a breach of the rules.
Failure to adhere to all of the above rules will lead to disqualification from the tournament along with a one-year ban from competing in EroFights tournaments, up to and including next year’s TWR tournament.

Prizes.

The winning team of TWR 2024 will receive:

150 EF Coins.
A signature move for The Wrestling Ring.
A “TWR 2024 Champion” badge for their profile.

Tournament Format

8 teams of 2 (1 Male Character and 1 Female Character), chosen randomly.

Round 1:

Two teams play each other. The agreed match time must either be posted in the tournament thread on the forum or posted in the tournament Discord forum.
2 heterosexual matches in The Wrestling Ring.
The matches must be titled in this manner < TWR Tournament 2024: Player A vs Player B>
Team with the most number of wins advance.
In the event of a tie, the winner who took the least amount of turns to win their match will determine who will face who in the tiebreaker.
4 teams eliminated, with 4 advancing.

Round 2:

Round 1 rules apply.
Two teams eliminated, with the winning two teams advancing to the final.
